Meghan McCain and her husband, Ben Domenech, are getting ready to have their second child. Meghan told DailyMail on September 15 that she and Ben are going to have a baby this winter and that they feel lucky. She went on,

“We are more than half way to meeting our newest daughter, and we couldn’t be happier. Our whole family, especially her grandmothers, can’t wait to give her as much love and care as we can. Ben and I are very happy and can’t wait to meet our new baby and make our family bigger.

“Well, this is strange… DNA and genes are strange. My dad used to do the same thing with his hands that [Liberty] does. I don’t do it. I don’t know why she does it, but she still does it.”

“I told my mother-in-law that it freaks me out when she does it, because it reminds me of a hand tic my dad used to have. So, it’s things like that, but I loved my dad and I love my mom in a way that I think a lot of people love their parents. They’re the ones who brought you up.”

McCain ended by saying that her father was “so much for so much of my life” in different ways, but that with her daughter, “it is just pure” and “she is perfection.”
